We are a small TICA registered Ragdoll cattery located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains near Roanoke, Virginia. We have been breeding Ragdoll cats since 2001, we had bred Persians before that. We have found the Ragdolls to be one of the most loving, laid back and easy to care for breeds.
We are dedicated to improving the breed by establishing our cattery with show quality cats. We enjoy showing the breed and are proud of our cats accomplishments. We provide a loving home where the kittens are well socialized with our children and two pug dogs. We also find that nutrition is very important for our cats, so we feed them human grade quality foods and vitamins and provide them to you when you purchase a kitten from us.
We are a Christian cattery, hence the name Bethelcats. Bethel means "House of God" in Hebrew and is taken from the Biblical story of Jacob. While on his journey to Haran, he rested his head on a rock and in a dream saw a stairway leading to Heaven where angels were ascending and descending to Earth. There he named the place "Bethel". We consider our home a house of God as well and have chosen to give our cattery that name. We follow the principles of Jesus Christ and take pride in meeting the expectations of others.
